“Art at the Heart”: Public Art Project: Ards Peninsula
We manufactured 6 seats for a Public Art project commissioned by the Institute of Conflict Research and Ards & North Down District Council.
Artist Eleanor Wheeler (who we have worked with before) designed the seats and carved the pattern which was cast by us: 4 in York Granite, 2 in Yellow Sandstone.
Eleanor made ceramic tile panels for the seat tops that illustrate stories from the Peninsula’s diverse and shared community history.
The Seats are located in; Donaghadee, Millisle, Greyabbey, Kircubbin, Portaferry, Ballywalter/Ballyhalbert
